After five years as a member of a large plastic surgery practice, Peter Capizzi, M.D. founded Stillwater Plastic Surgery, P.A. in 2003. The idea for this practice was sparked by his patients’ desire for a more personal approach to the process of improving their appearance. The philosophy behind Stillwater Plastic Surgery was and continues to be for all staff and medical team members to provide this intimate care on an unmatched level of excellence.
The entire clinical staff at Stillwater Plastic Surgery is licensed and certified by their respective state boards. They each play an integral role in providing guidance and education to patients. Ours is the only practice in the Lake Norman area designated as a Platinum Plus Status team, as deemed by Allergan. In addition, we have more experience than most cosmetic plastic surgery practices in Charlotte with breast augmentation, tummy tucks, liposuction, implant revision surgery, and non-surgical methods of cosmetic enhancement. It remains our sincere goal to exceed the expectations of all our patients.
Dr. Capizzi’s office is a state-of-the-art facility, with a private entrance, beautifully appointed waiting area, and exam rooms. The office features the most modern, private, and safe environment in which you can discuss, learn, and proceed with cosmetic surgery. All the operative procedures are performed in fully accredited surgical facilities ( AAAASF approved ambulatory surgical facility ) that use board-certified anesthesiologists and certified nurse anesthetists. The Northcross Surgery Center and Presbyterian Hospital Huntersville are both Medicare—JCAHO approved surgical facilities. Both are conveniently located in the Lake Norman area.

Dr. Capizzi now has office hours at the Nash Institute in Southpark each Monday from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. During these hours, he will consult with Botox and injectable patients, as well as surgery candidates.

Jessica Couch: Patient Coordinator
Jessica is extremely proud of her cosmetic and plastic surgery experience of twelve years. As Patient Coordinator, she speaks with, sees, and schedules all cosmetic surgery patients for Dr. Capizzi. She has a natural exuberance for meeting people and helping them achieve their goals.
Beth Laible: Front Desk Coordinator
Beth has 15 years of experience in customer service and sales, you are sure to feel valued and comfortable in Beth’s care! She is always pleasant and happy to help you in any way that she can, as her top priority is to assist and serve our clients. She handles appointment scheduling at Stillwater Plastic Surgery, is extremely knowledgeable in aesthetics and skin care.
Sally Wesselman, R.N.: Nurse Injection Specialist
As a Registered Nurse Injection Specialist, Sally specializes in Botox and filler injections, laser treatments, and skin care. She has extensive dermatologic experience of over ten years and we are very proud to have her for our clients.
Sally is a expert with Botox injections for fine lines and treatment of folds with fillers such as Juvederm. Our patients adore her and you will too!
Celeste Carter, R.N.: Nurse Injection Specialist
Celeste is a Registered Nurse and specializes in assisting Dr. Capizzi with cosmetic surgery consultations and patient care. She is an extremely caring and empathetic person and our patients enjoy her input.
In addition, Celeste is a Certified Clinical Nurse Injector for Botox and fillers such as Juvederm. She is very dedicated when it comes to improving patients’ overall appearance and thrives on making people feel more confident and special about themselves.
Celeste works primarily at our Charlotte location and has expanded evening hours on Wednesday by appointment until 7 p.m.
Ali Kraus: Aesthetician
Ali is a Certified Surgical Technician and Aesthetician, NOVA Eyelash Extension Specialist. With over 12 years experience as Dr. Capizzi’s assistant she utilizes her multiple talents in skin care, tattooing, laser hair removal, and cosmetic surgery. Ali also has assisted Dr. Capizzi with his surgical procedures since 1998.
Tina Kreinbrink: Laser Specialist
Tina is a Certified Candela Laser Specialist and has an expertise with laser hair removal. She is frequently requested by our clients and those who have been to other laser practices. Tina is detailed, compassionate, and provides excellent care.
Amy Hackney: Licensed Aesthetician
As a Licensed Clinical Aesthetician, Amy has over thirteen years of cosmetic dermatology experience and provides excellent effective medical treatments and skin care to our clients. Amy is certified with Sciton to provide treatments for photorejuvenation, skin tightening, microlaser peels, Pro Fractional resurfacing and laser hair removal. She has completed education and certification in both SkinMedica products and peels and has received extensive training with Obagi skin care products. Her passion is correcting skin conditions and helping people love their skin.
